About Me

Welcome friend!

When I first considered handcrafting soap, I was a little intimidated. However, years of struggling with sensitive skin, eczema, break-outs, and caring for my naturally curly hair with commercial products left me frustrated and searching for a gentle and natural alternative.

My first find was a simple shampoo bar. I was so impressed with the results that I experimented with other types of natural bar soap. The more I read about these types of soap and the soap making process the more convinced I became that I could do this myself. After speaking with several friends that had tried their hand at soap making, I decided to give it a try!

With one of my dear sisters-in-law there for moral support, I cautiously mixed my first batch. That first batch of soap told me everything I needed to know: I was in love at first *“trace”.

As I began experimenting with my own recipes, I took every effort to use the most natural ingredients available to protect my sensitive skin. All of my recipes use natural botanicals and minerals to color and scent the soap, as well as to add various qualities to each type.

I am no longer intimidated by the soap-making process. However, my heart’s desire is to continue learning everything there is to know to continuously improve this already top quality product.

My skin thanks me for the effort and I am sure yours will as well!
